Extract from a private letter to Sir John Shuckburgh

Peel has been asking me about the Control of

Civil Aviation in Hong Kong and the training of Chinese

pilots. Apparently we have been in communication

with the Air Ministry about it; but I don't think I have

seen the latest correspondence. If there is anything

I ought to discuss locally send me a telegram before

the 21st December, on which date I leave Hong Kong.
